Fabric: NATO, Perlon and Two-Piece
Not technically leather - but the most versatile, hard-wearing strap material in any collection.

Fabric covers nylon NATO, single-pass nylon, woven perlon and ribbed canvas. It is the lightest, cheapest and most waterproof family of strap, and it is the right answer for any watch you might take into the sea, the gym or a festival.
Why it works
- Survives saltwater, sweat, sand and sunscreen
- Dries in minutes - rinse and forget
- Adds height to the watch (NATO passes under the case) - small watches wear larger
- Spring bar safety: if one fails, the watch is still strapped to the wrist
Best paired with
Field watches, vintage divers, chronos, beaters and any watch you wear in summer. A black or olive NATO on a 36-40mm tool watch is a universal go-to.
Care in one line
Hand-wash in lukewarm soapy water, rinse, air dry. Replace it when the edges fray - they are designed to be consumable.
